After a successful year, Science Cafes will return again in the fall. Check out some of the talks from the past academic year here. We look forward to presenting another fascinating slate of speakers starting in September 2013. Check back to this site for updates in late August. Thanks for your interest and support.

Explore science through Carleton University’s popular Science Cafés. Put on by the university’s Faculty of Science, cafés are held every other Wednesday during the fall and winter terms at the Wild Oat Café at Fourth Avenue and Bank Street in the Glebe. Each café begins at 6:30 p.m. with a 20 minute talk by a scientist followed by a 40 minute open question and answer period.
Come and join us for a lively discussion around a scientific issue of the day. Be prepared to be informed, engaged and even amused, as our professors share their scientific discoveries with you. All are welcome.
For more information, please contact Professor Kim Hellemans at kim_hellemans@carleton.ca or 613-520-2600, ext. 2973.
Seating is limited, so plan to arrive early.
